CARPET STEAM CLEANERS

Our carpet steam cleaning machines are portable, easy to operate, powerful commercial grade units. The cleaning wand will deep clean your carpets by performing 2 cleaning actions at once. A mixture of water and special cleaning solution is sprayed into the nap, separating dirt and grime from carpet fibers while powerful suction vacuums it all away. A hand tool is also provided for cleaning your furniture and stairs or even your car upholstery and carpeting.

CARPET SHAMPOOERS

Our carpet shampooing machines are highly portable, smooth operating, double rotary brush commercial grade units. These machines perform 2 cleaning actions at once. A mixture of water and shampoo is dispensed onto the carpet while rotating brushes create suds. Shampoo suds combined with brushing gently loosens dirt and grime separating it from carpet fibers to be vacuumed when dry.

DRYING TIME

Drying time will vary with both carpet steam cleaners and shampooers from 4 to 24 hours (about 8 hours is standard) depending on the type of carpet fiber, thickness of nap and weather conditions. Drying time can also be shortened with carpet steam cleaners by controlling the amount of cleaning fluid dispensed and recovered and with carpet shampooers by controlling the amount of shampoo dispensed.

RESERVATIONS - AVAILABILITY - INSTRUCTIONS - ASSISTANCE

There is no need to reserve a rental machine. We have more than enough machines properly maintained, in perfect working condition, ready to go at all times. Your rental experience with "Handy Andy's" will satisfy you in every way. Our staff is professional and courteous, and will be very helpful explaining setup and operation. Written instructions are also provided below. We will place the rental machine in your car and remove it when you return. You can expect our rental machines to do an excellent job.

Carpet Steam Cleaner Operating Instructions:

The machine has two tanks, one is the clean water tank and is fixed in place or part of the machine, the other dirty water or recovery tank is removable. Fill the fixed tank with clean hot water from your faucet to a level three inches from the top and add 6 ounces of Rinsenvac Brand cleaning solution or 9 ounces if the carpets are badly soiled or stained. The recovery tank is left empty and will fill with dirt and water sucked out of your carpets during cleaning.

There are two hoses, the larger hose is the suction hose and the smaller hose is the spray hose. Push one end of the suction hose onto the cover over the recovery tank and the other end onto the handle of the cleaning wand. Push the male coupling end of the spray hose into the female coupling on the front of the machine by pulling the coupling sleeve back, inserting the spray hose and letting the sleeve spring back to lock the hose in place. Push the female coupling end of the spray hose onto the male coupling of the spray trigger located on the handle of the cleaning wand.

Turn on the suction and pump switches located on the front of the machine. Reach forward with the cleaning wand and while pulling backwards , squeeze the trigger to spray cleaning solution onto the carpet. Release the trigger and push forward. Clean back and forth overlapping the strokes and release cleaning solution as needed only on the backward stroke.

Watch the recovery tank as it fills during cleaning. Do not let it overflow. Stop the machine and remove the recovery tank and empty it when it fills to within three inches of the top.

When you have finished you may dispose of any remaining unused cleaning solution in the fixed tank by sucking it out with the suction hose into the recovery tank.

Upholstery Tool Operation:

The setup instructions are the same as above. Just substitute the upholstery nozzle for the cleaning wand and hook up the hoses the same way. Clean back and forth overlapping the strokes and release cleaning solution as needed only on the backward stroke.

DAILY RENTAL TIME

You can rent a machine from opening time at 9:00am on one day and you don't have to return it until the next day before closing time. That's up to 2 days use for the price of one.

SPECIAL WEEKEND DEAL

When you rent a machine on a Friday or Saturday, you pay for one day and you don't have to return it until Monday before closing time at 5pm. If there is a Monday holiday, you don't have to return it until Tuesday before closing time at 5pm. That's up to 4 days of use for the price of one. (Exception: No weekend deal during annual vacation weeks; Fourth of July week and the 3rd week of August.)

SPECIAL MIDWEEK HOLIDAY DEAL

Anytime you rent a machine Monday through Thursday and there is a holiday the next day, the holiday is free. Return it on the following day before closing time at 5pm Monday through Friday and 3pm Saturday. (Reminder: We are closed for annual vacation weeks; Fourth of July week and the 3rd week of August.)
